Chapter 1 Apart from the scratching of the quill on the parchment, there was complete silence as the piece of tattered parchment was passed from family member to family member. It was the weekly family meeting which we held to decide how to make some money to…well…live. My mother, father, sister (Amy), brother (Evan) and I all wrote down our ideas (though I don’t know why my brother even bothered, considering the fact that he didn’t have a brain cell to his name), then chose the best one (usually my father’s). Finally the paper got passed to me and I scribbled down my suggestion: Borrow from Uncle, THE DUKE.

Quoting from a song just intensifies the meaning of that title. I must really get to putting up some of my work, it's all just sitting patiently crowding up all my shelves...Really, the workload kills me and takes up all of my time, but at least I get some good art out of it..

Another mindless rant...

So this is the first time in  months that I (being Jimmy) log on to this account. This is quite sad really. An artist with absolutely no inspiration whatsoever. No new drawings, no new poems, no new stories, nothing... It seems as if my muse has left me. Or is none existant at this present moment in time. I don't know, this muse confuses me sometimes. Can't tell left from right at the moment. To be openly honest and sincere, I have no idea who or what my muse is at the moment. I'veendured endless sufferings where the blank paper just sits there, taunting me, screaming silent rants at me. Ah just another day in the life of Jimmy. Sigh. Anyway,

Aah, yes...writing in a journal no-one actually reads....that is the epitomy of a bored soul failing in her studying for exams.... I should really upload more comics...I've come to realise they're really just personal jokes, but hey, I put them up for friends with internet, so it makes an inkling of sense....sometimes when I twist my logic enough.... XD
